The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has announced its top priorities in order to achieve 'economic recovery and modernization’ for the upcoming year.
The organization, consisting of 100 board members, has placed its priorities on supporting legal liability protections for Indiana businesses in the event an employee or customer contracts COVID-19 after returning to work or visiting the business. The corresponding literature reads, “these protections are paramount to resuming more normal business activities. Indiana must adopt its own policy to ensure necessary protections are in place; the state cannot count on the federal government to take the proper actions.”
